Love Labor's Lost - Principles of Scenery Design Final Project
For our final project for Principles of Scenery Design, each student has been asked to create their own scenic rendition of Love Labor's Lost, the romantic comedy play by William Shakespeare, and set it during a limited time period with historical research into our architectural choices.

When creating the look and feel for this production, we had put together our own reference photography that gave the desired architecture and style for our sets. We had also created various thumbnail sketches in a short period of time to start coming up with ideas and design choices.

After consulting with our instructor on changes and feedback on the rough elevation and floorplan, I had started drafting up the front elevation, side elevation, and final floorplan on AutoCAD, making all the works in 1/4"=1'0" scale.

With the CAD work done, construction of the model came next, cutting out the pieces needed in watercolor paper and adhering them with wood glue and giving structural support with balsa wood to scale.
