My name is Marie Catano and I am a Live Entertainment Design and Production student at Valencia College concentrating on Production Design. Originally moving to Orlando from South Florida, I want to bring diverse and vibrant ideas that tap in from my latin roots to each project I work on!
Having worked on a little bit of everything, from theatrical production to gallery setups all the way to library events, I am currently finding work in the theme park/ themed entertainment industry. I specialize in prop work, scenic treatments, and illustrative design for productions. I am most at home getting my hands dirty in the scene shops, building the projects to their final forms. When I am not doing production work I am tabling for conventions and other events in the greater Orlando area, or creating scaled miniatures of theatre productions or themed entertainment icons from the comfort of my home. |
